This Returns & Refund Policy is designed in accordance with Australian retail standards and the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
These rights apply regardless of any change-of-mind policy.
2. Quality Assurance
All products sold by Shop It Now are quality-checked before dispatch to ensure they meet our standards.
However, if an issue occurs during transit or normal use, we will gladly assess the matter in line with Australian Consumer Law.
3. Change of Mind Returns
We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of purchase, provided that:
Proof of purchase is supplied
The item is unused and in original condition
All original packaging, tags, and accessories are included
The item is in resaleable condition
Change-of-mind returns that do not meet these conditions may be declined.
Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
4. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives:

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide:

Description of the issue
Clear photos or videos of:
the item
packaging
shipping label (if applicable)
This allows us to assess and resolve the issue quickly.
Depending on the situation, we may offer:
Replacement
Repair
Refund
in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
5. Product Assessment & Inspection
To ensure fair outcomes for all customers:
Photos or videos may be required before approving a return.
Items may need to be returned for inspection before a refund or replacement is issued.
Returned items are assessed upon arrival.
Items may not qualify for refund or replacement if inspection shows:
Misuse or improper handling
Accidental or customer-caused damage
Normal wear and tear
Damage occurring after delivery unrelated to manufacturing fault
6. Shipping Damage
If an item appears damaged during delivery:
Please retain all packaging materials.
Contact us promptly with photos.
We may lodge a claim with the courier while arranging an appropriate resolution for you.
7. Refunds
Once a return is approved and inspected:
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method where possible.
Processing typically occurs within 3–7 business days after approval.
Shipping costs are refundable only where the item is confirmed faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
8. Exchanges
We are happy to offer exchanges where replacement stock is available.
If the requested item is unavailable, a refund will be provided.
9. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns:

Items not in resaleable condition
Clearance or final sale items (unless faulty under ACL)
